As we look into the upcoming 2023 edition of our Brewmaster’s Collective beer club, we reflect on a year of great beers, experiential events, and memorable moments with our members.

This year marked the second edition of the beer club – and if you want to get in the mix, now is your chance. Details on the 2023 season will be coming on 11.7.22.

“It took us 25 years to launch our first beer club, and now we can’t imagine life without it,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “It is not only enabling us to create some really interesting beers – it’s also fostering a deeper personal connection with our most passionate fans.”

Standouts & Exclusives

Some of the most notable Brewmaster’s Collective offerings this past year included our three exclusive collaborations with WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Vermont: Whistle Monkee, Stickee Pig, and Boiler Maker – all matured in rye whiskey barrels that were emptied right here in Paso Robles during a barrel swap for the ages.

Other standouts included reprises and reinventions of several Firestone Walker classics, including Double DBA, Walker’s Reserve, and PNC. And we produced some epic collaboration beers with some of our favorite brewers, including Highland Park, The Bruery, Side Project, pFriem Family Brewers, and Beachwood Brewing.

“The beer club provides a ready platform for our most artisanal brewing efforts,” Matt said. “We can dust off some of our greatest hits, collaborate with some of our favorite breweries, and let our creative juices run wild.”

Experiential Perks

Special experiences have also marked the 2022 Brewmaster’s Collective experience, including the recent beer pairing dinner hosted by David Walker to celebrate the beers in the Lion’s Den Collection.

Our members also enjoyed preferred access to the sold-out Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival, where they got to hang out in the private Member’s Lounge. Throughout the year, members also enjoyed complimentary brewery tours, discounts on all beer purchases, VIP Taproom access, and monthly member happy hours.

Four members also won our club lottery to participate in the annual blending of our Anniversary Ale among the company of local brewers and winemakers. To say that they joined the inner circle of that day would be an understatement.

Now comes the 2023 Brewmaster’s Collective with even more in store. We’re looking forward to taking this next yearlong journey with you.
