If you win a seat on the Firestone Walker Expedition, here’s how your adventure will unfold:
*Airfare, transportation, lodging and dining are all included.
DAY ONE: BREWING
Thursday, June 1st
The Expedition begins at our new Propagator pilot brewhouse in the iconic Southern California beach town of Venice, where you will enjoy a crash course in brewing the types of experimental and R&D beers that are setting the pace for what’s next from Firestone Walker. The day concludes with a welcome dinner at the Propagator restaurant.
DAY TWO: BLENDING
Friday, June 2nd
Next, you will amble up the coast to Barrelworks, our wild ale facility in the town of Buellton in Santa Barbara County. Here, Barrelmeister Jeffers Richardson and Master Blender “Sour” Jim Crooks will guide you through an epic blending session, turning you loose to craft your own unruly brew from a variety of eccentric Barrelworks creations. After dinner at the Taproom restaurant, you will head out to get a jump on day three.
DAY THREE: CELEBRATING
Saturday, June 3rd
Finally, you will wake up in Paso Robles in the heart of the Central Coast wine country, where you will enjoy a private tour of our main brewery with Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. In the late morning, you will then head out for VIP early-entry to the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest, which has been hailed as one of the nation’s best beer festivals by CNN, San Francisco Chronicle, LA Weekly and others.
