From the coast of California comes Mind Haze, a free-spirited hazy IPA made to elevate your perceptions—juicy yet balanced, hazy yet lasting, and loaded with an imaginative array of tropical hop flavors.

Mind Haze is Firestone Walker’s first broad-market foray into the hazy IPA category, born of extensive experimentation at Firestone’s Propagator R&D brewhouse, requiring numerous test batches to find just the right balance of juiciness, haziness and natural stability.

For a beer made to ‘let your mind wander’ we were excited to partner with LA-based contemporary surrealism artist, POST WOOK, in the creation of Mind Haze art graphics.

Art is supposed to challenge your perspective. Mind Haze is a beer to let your mind wander.

Firestone discovered POST WOOK’s work on Instagram where we were captivated by her ability to blend reality with fantasy — a similar characteristic of Mind Haze and encouraging beer drinkers to let their minds wander.

Natasha Chomko is the creative artist behind the contemporary surrealism art project POST WOOK. She sought out for a creative outlet while working a tiring office job and found great relief in collage art. Being able to slice elements, arrange colors, and create new worlds gave Natasha the creative expression she craved.

From the mountains and the ocean to the desert, Natasha was able to find inspiration all around Los Angeles for her Mind Haze collage pieces. She started with a general image and color scheme pulling from the cool colors in the Mind Haze can, then built layers creating a unique, psychedelic and “hazy” scene for your mind to journey into.

‘These collages were fun to put together, especially because I was given basically complete freedom to be creative and tell new stories about Mind Haze,” said Natasha. “I love being able to just do my thing, and was able to pull elements I like from other works to create something for everyone.”
